Parkway has a 50-year presence in our community. Although we have been around for half a century, in many ways Parkway is thinking like a new church. Just like in the late 50’s when that group of folks began to dream about how they could be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community, we are today, re-dreaming the dream. Our very existence is to, by all means, bring glory to God. When we bring glory to God we are most able to make a positive difference in our community. When we are most pleased in Him, we are most apt to look, smell, sound and act like Him.

There are a few familiar faces around Parkway that have spanned much of those fifty years. There are also many fresh faces that evidence a growing and changing community of Christ-followers. You will find folks who have taken the challenge to think in new ways to rediscover the age-old excitement and challenge of service and ministry. It is new life with some of the freshness and challenge of 1st century Christianity. Be warned though, “This ain’t no church for wimps and wussies.” If you are ready to explore life outside the comfort zone, if you are ready to hear from the God who gets a kick out of demonstrating His love in new ways.
