Get Closer 201
Parkway College Ministry is starting a Bible study for the Fall 2007 semester. We begin tonight, Tuesday, September 11th at 8:30 PM at Parkway. In coming weeks, we will be rotating to the homes/apartments of different people. But tonight, we'll meet at the church. (If you'd like to volunteer for your home to be in the rotation, let me know!)
We'll begin our study this semester with the book of James. This will very much be a discussion-based study. I have found that it's easier to learn something when you actually engage in conversation about it. It is perfectly acceptable to come with questions and comments prepared, or to just sit and soak up some stuff. Whatever your learning style, it's cool with me. I would like to look at this as more that I will be facilitating a discussion, rather than teaching a lesson.
That's all I'll say for now. I know this is short notice for this week, but hopefully many of y'all will still be able to make it. If not, maybe we'll see you next week! Have a great rest of the week!
